Schlau|Rogers Presents the 2018 WHW: Suits for a Cause Clothing Drive!

Join Joshua Rogers, Tom Yacko and Matthew Schlau in supporting your local community by taking part in our 2018 WHW: Suits for a Cause Clothing Drive! WHW has been helping the unemployed and underemployed since 1993 and its latest efforts are underway through multiple 2018 Suits for a Cause Clothing Drives across southern Calfornia.

What is WHW?

The mission of WHW is to provide the unemployed and underemployed the skills and resources they need to get and keep a good job. Since 1993, WHW has served over 93,000 job seekers referred by over 275 partner agencies at no charge. Each year more than 8,000 job seekers participate in programs focused on equipping them to be the most marketable candidate for the job they see. Programs include Employment Readiness Workshops, Computer training, Job Placement Assistance, Employment Retention Support and Professional Apparel.

Suits for a Cause is an annual clothing drive sponsored by the Southern California legal community to support the job seekers of WHW.  WHW was started by two legal professionals who were survivors of domestic abuse, who faced the daunting task of rebuilding their professional wardrobes and self-esteem to return to the workforce.  Today, WHW continues to assist men and women in successfully entering the workforce by providing comprehensive employment readiness programs including interview-appropriate apparel and accessories. Originally put on by 25 law firms, over 60 firms, groups and companies in Southern California now sponsor and participate each year.

How is Schlau|Rogers helping?

In partnership with 37 other local law firms and professional organizations, the Schlau|Rogers Team (Joshua Rogers, Tom Yacko and Matthew Schlau) is holding its very own WHW: Suits for a Cause Clothing Drive! The Clothing will last throughout the month of March and will culminate in a month-end Suits for a Cause Luncheon at Orange County Bar Association headquarters on March 29, 2018.

Our Clothing Drive will run from Saturday March 10, 2018 through Sunday March 25, 2018.
